Tuesday, September 15  -  Diana Karna will be teaching a Quilted Coat Workshop.  Diana is our featured speaker at our general meeting on Monday, September 14, with a lecture on Quilted Coats.  

In Diana’s workshop you will finish quilted back panels, trace and cut pattern pieces, and dive into coat construction!  

The coat pattern for the class costs $30.00 payable to the teacher.

Tuesday October 13 - Julia McLeod will presnt her 6-hour her workshop titled “Cocktail!”

in this workshop you will learn how to piece the Drunkard’s Path quilt block, and make your own bias tape for appliqué embellishment.   

• Master traditional, accurate curved piecing 

• Discover how easy it is to make your own bias tape for all styles of appliqué

• Experiment with several machine appliqué stitches

Julia McLeod has a new book out titled “Patchwork Luxe”. Stop by the Workshop table and take a look at Julia’s book.  For the workshop you will need to purchase ahead of class a Drunkard’s Path Template (any size) from your favorite local quilt shop or online.  You will also need a Bias Tape Maker.
