On January 1, 2024 we moved to the Auburn Veterans Memorial Hall, 100 East Street, Auburn.  This will be our new venue for general meetings, classes, workshops, the country store and big events like the spring luncheon and bunco event.  We are very excited about our new venue!  If you can't find parking in the lot behind the hall, we have permission to park in the parking lot across from us on East Street.

 

OUR FEBRUARY 10 MEETING:

Our February meeting is a Community Service work day.  This time we're making it an extended day - come at 9:00, work until lunch time, have a short business meeting, and continue working.  Bring your sewing machine and the Community Service team will supply the rest.  Please let Lynn Zacharias know if you're staying for lunch,

QUILT CAMP AT ZEPHYR COVE

Quilt camp is April 6-11, 2025.  The cost is $660 this year. We will be taking applications beginning at the July meeting. The application is on our Activities page and/or will  be available at the meeting and must be accompanied by your check for $330 to secure your spot. Please complete it with your room mate and table mate requests. (Please decide in advance the names of those friends.)  There are 32 spaces available.  The remainder will be due by January 2, 2025.  For the application and more information, check our Activities page.

We have pictures of most of our members on the Members Only page.  If you're not there, we try to take pictures at meetings - or if you have a picture you like, email (colleenvoet@gmail.com) or text (916-390-2272) it to Colleen Voet.  (If you text, be sure she knows who you are.)

 

FABRIC DONATIONS:

We welcome donations of quilting fabric, notions, and tools.  Fabric that is 100% cotton is what we need for quilts for our Community Service projects - anything that’s ¼ yard or bigger.  Please contact Lynn Zacharias at 530-906-5523 to make appropriate arrangements.  To see what we do with these donations, please check our Community Service page.
