Carol Vierra will use Judy Sisneros' book, 9-Patch Pizzaz, to guide us through which design would be the best for our fabric choices. This is her “go to” pattern because it can accommodate large prints and various design options. She had several examples in our last guild show. The book can be purchased at Thrift Books for about $5 or via other online stores.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Saturday, September 12, 2026 Garden Party

Joan Sampson will teach a portion of the Garden Party Laura Heine pattern. In one day, we will only be able to get a good start on what you could make into a wall hanging or table runner, or you could complete the remaining sections of the quilt on your own. There will be special items to purchase for this class.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Saturday, November 7, Travel Time Zips

Gail Reinke will teach the Quilt’s Illustrated pattern ps191 Travel Time Zips that you can buy online. The class will be held at the Auburn Vets Hall.

Gail Reinke will teach how to make a Tool Tote by Quilts Illustrated.  She taught this a few years ago, but there is renewed interest. If we get at least 10 signed up, she will teach it. We will collect a group order (20% discount on suppliers & pattern) due by November to allow you time to do the prep for class.

August 14, 2027 Jelly Roll Rug

Mona Wooden will teach us how to make a jelly roll rug. It’s been years since she taught this. It’s

fun and easy! Start thinking about the jelly roll you’ll use and buy the 2.5” precut batting to make

it fast. The batting is available at Walmart, local quilt stores, and online. No pattern to buy for this

project!
