May 2021:  Bitty Bag

Gail taught the students how to make this cute little bag.  It's just 8" tall and 5 ½" wide but large enough to hold a cell phone, a small wallet, and a few essentials.

June 2021:  Impressionist Quilt

These quilts were made by the students using the “confetti” quilting technique created by Noriko Endo.  Fabric was cut into small pieces using a rotary cutter, arranged to make the background, covered in tulle and then quilted.  The class was taught by Marina Towne.

July 2021:  Using Neckties to Make Beautiful Quilts

Jane Haworth taught a variety of ways to use neckties in quilts; strip piecing, a Dresden quilt block, & a bowtie quilt block. She also taught dyeing on silk with the ties.
