July 2023 Member Spotlight and Workshop

Our July 10 meeting will feature two of our very talented and prolific members, Frankie Hey and Beth Handy.    Both will talk about their quilt journeys and have a trunk show of some of their work.

The following day, Frankie will offer a workshop teaching hand applique.

July 11 Workshop:  Hand Applique

This is your chance to learn Frankie’s techniques for Hand Appliqué. She will have tips and tricks to share from many years of doing fine hand appliqué work.

You’ll learn how to work with bias strips, the appliqué stitch and how to use that for points and curves. Use the provided pattern or bring your own.

This class is suitable for both beginner and experienced quilters. No sewing machine needed.
